LSI Grants its Second Wish Reveal Through Make-a-Wish Mid-South

Since its inception, LSI Graphics and the LSI family of companies have been significant supporters of Make-a-Wish Mid-South. However, we have really kicked our donations into overdrive in the past several years! This has enabled us to start granting wish reveal parties on nearly an annual basis. Today, we got our opportunity to grant our second ever wish reveal as an organization, and let’s just say we pulled out all the stops! But first, a little backstory about the girl who this day honors.

Maria, a six-year-old girl, has been diagnosed with an undisclosed ailment, prompting the Make-a-Wish team to grant her wish to go to Disney World. Maria loves Grogu, affectionately called ‘Baby Yoda’ by many, from the Dinsey+ series ‘The Mandalorian.’ Her family are all big-time Star Wars fans.

Knowing how much Maria and her family connect with the Star Wars universe prompted us to create a Star Wars-themed reveal they would cherish for years to come. Of course, we’re a sign and graphics company, so when opportunities like this come knocking, we’re going to flex a little bit!

We had custom signs printed with quotes from Star Wars that the family would see as they drove around our corporate park. We even hung a 10’ long banner from two of our bucket trucks that stated “Maria’s Clan Honorary Induction Ceremony” to help the stage for what was to come next.

Little did Maria and her family know that Maria would be receiving a Grogu of her very own, bestowed to her from a real-life group of Mandalorians! Thanks to the help from the Bes’uliik Clan, Maria Zanne Tangonan became an honorary member of their group and received her very own Din Djarin-style helmet to help her protect her very own Grogu. Maria also received tickets for her and her family to go to Disney World, which she was a little excited about!

Our local Domino’s chipped in by having pizzas delivered to the event and made sure everyone was well-fed and ready to make this day memorable for the Tangonan family. All-in-all, this was another exceptional wish reveal in the books, and we can’t wait to grant our next wish!
