Top 9 Projects of 2019

Almost as soon as it started, 2019 is now soon coming to a close. As a company, this year saw lots of new opportunities for custom branding and signage packages, and we are so grateful our clients trusted in us to bring them to life! Every project we get to be a part of has a special place in our hearts, but, of course, there are always a few that stand out from the pack! Let's take a minute together to reflect on the Top 9 projects of 2019, which made the year extra special.

9) Rock and Soul Museum Vinyl Record Wrap

This wrap showcases creative possibilities when working with our printed graphic vinyl. We were able to take a simple circle and turn it into a larger-than-life Sun Studio record in the Rock and Soul Museums entryway.

8) Bad Boy Mowers Car & Trailer Wraps

And speaking of the graphic possibilities available with our printed vinyl, this full wrap for Bad Boy Mowers showcases the power of full-color, photo-quality printing. Full wraps, such as this, make a big statement to your customers. They can't help but look at all of the details in your ad… it's human nature! Of course, wraps are also one of the most inexpensive ways to maximize brand awareness because once you have them, you own them.

7) Memphis Tigers Signage Package at the Liberty Bowl

LSI Graphics had the honor this year of being a part of the transformational signage package at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in our hometown of Memphis, TN. Home to the Memphis Tigers, the stadium received significant upgrades such as retired player numbers on the outside of the stadium and a column wrap big enough to let the whole city and anyone who dared oppose the Tigers know whose house it was.

Inside the bowl, we produced a brand new field wrap featuring the program's new stripe up design. All of these changes were in place for the first home game of the year against Ole Miss, the Tigers' attendance record-breaking game against SMU for ESPN College GameDay, and in the AAC West Division and Conference Championship games against the Cincinnati Bearcats.

6) Christian Brothers High School Hall of Fame

With nearly 150 years of rich history to share, CBHS was ready to transform its halls into something that highlighted their students' and staff's dedication to excellence in everything they do.

With the help from our friends at Fleming Architects, LSI Graphics was able to take a blank canvas essentially and turn it into a modular space that can be easily updated and effectively showcase the achievements of the school. One of the coolest things to note about this project is that all of the wood paneling was a faux finish created using one of our architectural types of vinyl. This treatment saved the client a lot of money while also maintaining a high-end aesthetic.

5) MUS Gym Lobby Renovation

If you want to see an example of how environmental graphics can be used to upgrade a space, you need to look not further than the work we did for the MUS Owls. From recognition walls for the coaches, players, and alumni, to school value and principle honorariums. What’’s even better, this project was done 100% in-house here at LSI Graphics, including the design.

4) Lit Lounge - FedExForum

The newest name in vodka, LIT Vodka, makes a splash at the FedExForum in the newly renovated Lit Lounge. This project was hands down one of the most extensive branding packages that have ever come across our desks and features some genuinely out-of-the-box creative environmental graphics. This project is another excellent example of what happens when a client lets LSI take the design reigns and run with them!

3) Union University Women’s Basketball Locker Room

Union University and LSI Graphics have long worked with one another to bolster the brand experience at Union’s campuses. This year, though, Union U entered their work into the Baptist Communicators Association’s (BCA) awards competition and won First Place in the Print Collateral Special Display category, as well as the Grand Prize out of all the design division winners – the Albert McClellan Award for Exceptional Achievement in Print Media and Design.

2) Graceland

Opened in May 2019, the new 80,000 square foot exhibition center will house different traveling exhibits for every age and every interest. This custom sign drew inspiration by pulling in elements on the exterior of the Exhibitor center. Also, new timeless murals of Elvis were added to bring The King of Rock and Roll back to his larger-than-life status!

1) Super Bowl LIII Graphics - Anheuser Busch

And last but certainly not least, we have the most prominent branding opportunity in all of sports history, the Super Bowl! For Super Bowl LIII, we helped Anheuser Busch execute on the design, production, and installation of door and window graphics on restaurants and spirit shops in the block surrounding Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
