Ole Miss Gets Signage Overhaul
The Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, MS hosts games for some of the SEC’s best teams including their home team, Ole Miss. In this project, we had to manufacture their logos and letters in a fitting size for the stadium and make sure they were lit.
The logo and letters were so big and heavy we had to use a crane to lift them over the stadium wall. Each letter is 2’ tall and was mounted to a 40’ plinth.
The Ole Miss logo itself is 10’ in height and 30’ in width. The surface it was mounted to had to fit perfectly at the peak of their new electronic scoreboard (the largest jumbotron in the southeast.) The pressure was on!
