Infamous Lyfe Kitchen Sign Removed and Replaced with "The Chisca"

To the joy of Memphians far and wide, the Lyfe Kitchen signage representing a business that no longer occupied the building and cluttered the Memphis skyline, finally came down.

This removal, although done with ease and grace, took months of planning and was done in gusting winds (not ideal conditions). Many times the old signage would get blown directly into the sign cage where our installers were shielded from the blow.

Installers on the ground would raise and lower signs and also control the distance away from the signs by operating a crane and line setup.

People stopped and stared as the giant signs came down one by one piece by piece, until there was nothing left to do but install the one-of-a-kind “The Chisca” sign.

This sign fit directly to the pre-existing sign cage, and is illuminated so it can be seen shining brightly in the beautiful Memphis skyline at night. The sign is fitted with RGB LED technology allowing it to fade into a full spectrum of vibrant colors and can be changed to match events and holiday themes.
