The Shell’s Next Stage

The Shell has been an iconic piece of Memphis history since its opening in 1936. It has recently become the host to many local community events such as its Free Concert Series, Yoga in the Shell, and many more initiatives. After a 17-year partnership with the Levitt Family, it was time for the Shell to return to its roots. The newly rebranded Overton Park Shell bears its name across the top of the shell in the same form as its predecessor. Local artist Kyle Taylor used the elements of its spinning record shape to generate banner designs that would help generate buzz around the fresh rebrand.

LSI Graphics contributed to this rebrand by producing and installing the Overton Park Shell typography, promotional banners, and sponsorship graphics found nearby. We are thrilled to have been a part of turning the page in the song that is the Shell.
